These little balls of heaven are sweet, savory, and most importantly, extremely an all-around perfectly balanced biteβtheyβre packed with just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy your sweet tooth. They will keep for up to a week in your refrigerator stored in an airtight container.
Ingredients:
Makes roughly 14 balls
200gr. dark chocolate 65% cacao
6 tablespoons tahini
1 tablespoon honey
Hazelnuts β cup of chopped and 14 whole nuts
Cooking Instructions:
You start by pulsing your hazelnuts in a food processor to achieve a chopped consistency. You want to retain the coarse texture so you can add some crunch!
Melt chocolate, tahini and honey together in a marie-bain bath
Leave it to cool and firm(10 minutes) so that we can shape the balls,
Roll the batter into 14-10z balls(about the shape of a ping pong ball) and place 1 hazelnut in the center and then roll them around onto the grated hazelnuts.
Place each ball on a plate lined with parchment paper and put them in the refrigerator to chill and firm for about 20 minutes
